Story of Grishneshwar
According to legend, there lived a devout woman named Kusuma, who was a great devotee of Shiva.
Every day she created a Shiva Lingam from clay, worshipped it with devotion, and immersed it in a sacred pond.
Her devotion was pure and unwavering.
However, jealousy grew in the heart of her sister-in-law, who tragically killed Kusuma’s son and threw the body into the same pond.
Despite the tragedy, Kusuma continued her prayers with complete faith in Lord Shiva.
